JOB SUMMARY: The Travel Program Manager-China, assigned to a specific client, will provides travel management oversight at country level, ensures compliance of processes and policy to global/regional guidelines and focus on continuous improvement travel processes, traveler experience and cost reduction. The Essential Functions Include:Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.Establish and maintain close and collaborative working relationships with multiple cross functional teams and business stakeholders including, but not limited to, IT, Global Real Estate Facilities, Human Resources, Legal, etc.Responsibile for China travel policy reviews and recommendations for updates.Ownership of China travel site contents.Contribute to OBT Optimization and process Improvements.Manage escalations/ quality & service issues.Collaborate with APAC Travel Manager on supplier management (TMC, Car Rental, Hotel, Airlines, ground transportation, technology vendors.Cooperation with AP/travel expense and other teams on streamlined and best solutions.Travel program trainings, education and communication.Cooperate with Travel Team on regional and global projects.Cooperate with travel team on the implementations of new processes in China , new acquisitions integrations.Partner with the APAC Travel Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the travel organization including the travel service center.All other duties, as assigned. Education/Experience:Degree or Diploma with 5-9 years in travel related industries (travel management, TMC hotel, airline).Competencies (As Demonstrated Through Experience, Training, and/or Testing):Experience in travel management,people leadership and team management.Bilingual: English and Chinese are mandatory.Strong negotiation skills.Understanding of travel procurement, travel RFPs/tenders in various categories; ability to analyze travel data reports.Familiarity with pricing and contracts with travel suppliers.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills).Ability to manage tactical (daily) operations and participate in development of strategic program plans.Ability to travel throughout region 20-25%.Results-oriented person with strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams.Proficient in use of standard computer programs to include Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise.
