We are looking for a new colleague of CDC Portfolio Manager for our Division Car Chassis Technology at our location ZFAP, Xuhui District, Shanghai. Your Task Main Tasks: Regional Portfolio Manager is responsible for growth and profitability of the Product Line product portfolio in the Region AP in close alignment with the superior. The function develops and implements strategies and processes to achieve long and medium term strategic and business plans, as well as leads the short-term Business Win for the Product Line in the region by leading a regional and cross functional team. Leading regional, cross functional teams that develop strategies and actions, customer business cases and managing customer acquisition projects for a profitable growth of the Product Line CT in the region AP. Lead x functional teams that define strategies and ensure profitability of portfolio and business win teams that develop business cases and manage customer projects until nomination. Develop and deliver financial targets as established in the business plans. Derive regional measures to improve profitability by actively managing BOM reduction including VE before nomination (Design to Cost) in coordination with Product Cost Engineering and Global VA/VE. Define regional Product Portfolio actions and measures for product technologies, aligning product development priorities with market requirements and financial goals (new & existing customer, portfolio extension) by working closely with cross functions (Product Planning, R&D, Sales). Improve product competitiveness by managing and tracking product cost targets. Drive benchmarking to improve competitiveness and business results. Design and successful execute critical regional Strategic Action Plans in accordance with the global PL strategy. Meet/exceed new business wins and margins to plan. Ensure handover to Program Management (Gate A3) e.g., VE measures to be implemented. Lead quote release process. Constantly improve portfolio management processes. Recommend make or buy. Define target costs based on market insights to ensure future profitability of business. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree or above. Fluent English, Germany not required but if was fluent will be a plus. Required skilled of operating MS Office etc. Strong leadership and matrix skills with team spirit and global view. Strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting. Strong strategic thinking skills. Strong business acumen (P&L, Business Cases, Product Costing etc.) Strong understanding of Business Processes, Portfolio-and Project management, change management and/or experience in various management functions. Excellent product and market know how and understanding on chassis suspension or related business. Strong (global) networking and coordination/cooperation skills. High level of stress resistance, resilience and assertiveness.
