Reporting to assistant merchandising manager ? Generating and issuing purchase orders, expediting orders.? Following up with suppliers for delivery dates and expediting where necessary? Sourcing and negotiating the best price to deliver on-going cost savings for the company? Track cost increases and cost savings within procurement? Build and develop strong relationships with suppliers? Processing RFQ requests from sales offices in a professional/timely manner? Support accounts with invoice queries and resolving them in a timely manner? Conduct supplier reviews against company procedures? Make required site visits to new and existing suppliers? Make sure all quality standards are understood and maintained by the suppliers? Understand the capacity of the supply chain? Query non-conformances with suppliers and work with them to resolve these issues? Provide cover for a Buyer in their absence as required? Uphold the Company’s core values of integrity, commitment, accountability, innovation, and respectSkills & Experience Required:? Proficient using all Microsoft office programs, experience with SAP or ERP system ? A business Diploma or above preferred ? Experience of at least 3-5 years as in sourcing / buying office or trading company? Good spoken & written English a must ? Self-motivated, a keen learner and attention to details? Ability to handle pressure, good interpersonal skills and willing to do routine work? Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.? Good attention to detail.?
