About QBPCThe Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) is a Beijing-based trade association representing the interests of more than 200 multinational companies with intellectual property interests in China. It was formed in March, 2000 and registered under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI). QBPC’s membership consists largely of subsidiaries of companies headquartered in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. QBPC’s Mission Statement is: To work cooperatively with the Chinese central and local governments, local industry, and organizations to make positive contributions to intellectual property protection in the People’s Republic of China. QBPC’s governing body is the “Steering Council” which consists of the voting members of the organization together with those representatives of member companies elected to various leadership positions. As currently structured, QBPC has a Chairman, 6 Vice Chairman and 6 Committees, each with a Committee Chairman and 4 Vice Chairman (the “Executive Team”). In addition, there are 18 Industry Working Groups which act as a forum for members with similar commercial interests to work together on common projects.Currently QBPC is looking for an Manager to lead a staff team of 8.
